We’ve started another trip around the Sun, leaving behind memories that have built us and shaped our mentalities about our city, so what’s in it for this new year?

There’s a lot of talk around the city (and we can clearly see some of the changes happening on the street) about new developments, multi-use buildings, funds throughout the city, and more. Some in favor, some opposed, but we cannot ignore the way our city is shaping itself into a new Raleigh, NC.

Our community is being active into being involved in these changes, to prevent our city to lose its charm, and the random little things, people, and buildings that make Raleigh the place we love. It does not matter if you’ve been here 3, 20, or 50 years, the ambience of our city hypnotizes those who see the beauty in it, and become one more local who enjoys every corner of it.

If you’re curious about what living here is like, or being part of the local scene is like, talk to anybody enjoying a cup of coffee at Cup-A-Joe or The Morning Times, enjoying the famous wings at Woody’s City Market, or a burger at MoJoe’s, you are sure to find some interesting stories about our early founders, local celebrities, and the stories that you would only hear by living in the city for decades.
