Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in a concert, surrounded by nothing but candles?, this is the experience that FEVER gave the Raleigh community at a beautiful chapel that was built in 1875!.

Imagine going back in time, being present in an era where the only type of light available was candles, and the moonlight, sounds like it’s something out of a fairytale, and that’s exactly how we felt attending this marvelous series called Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics at All Saints Chapel.

It was the perfect evening, a little bit of rain, a couple of thunders could be heard, and the perfect mixture of light-to-darkness ratio, once the host of the evening introduced the company and the event, the lights started to fade away, leaving the candles do all the work, (which they are battery powered candles, but it is an all wood chapel from 1875, so certain precautions have to be made) nevertheless it was such a marvelous evening.

Multiple well known themes were played, from TV series, movies, pop music, up to classical movements from Dmitri Shostakovich, Camille Saint-Saëns, Franz Schubert, and Edvard Grieg. Highline String Quartet was in charge of the night, mesmerizing the crowd with their bows, their virtuosity and with no microphones, it filled the whole chapel and more.
